Privacy policy

This policy describes actual technical data processing on EVMoto.ge. We use data to operate the platform, protect it, publish listings and provide support.
Information we process
Account use may involve your name, email, phone number, profile and store information. Listings include descriptions, price, location, technical details and uploaded images.
To prevent duplicate view counts, we may process a user ID, a random current-day visitor marker, user-agent and a one-way hash of the IP address. localStorage keeps that daily internal marker and remembers a login identifier only at your request; it never stores the password.
How we use information
Information supports account management, authentication, listings, moderation, stores, notifications, security and customer support.
When analytics consent is denied, Google Analytics receives only limited cookieless signals for aggregate statistics. With consent, it may use analytics cookies for product improvement. With separate marketing consent, Meta Pixel sends public page views (URL, referrer, cookie identifiers and browser/network information including IP address) to Meta for advertising measurement and audiences. We do not pass account contact details to Pixel. You can withdraw consent in Cookie settings; this stops future events but does not erase data already sent.
Providers and infrastructure
Auth.js manages authentication; Netlify hosts the application; Neon PostgreSQL stores platform data; Cloudinary stores and delivers images; Resend sends account-related email; OpenStreetMap may load on listing maps.
Providers process data under their own infrastructure and terms. Google Analytics cookie use depends on your preference; limited cookieless signals may be sent when analytics is disabled.
Retention
Account and listing information is retained while needed to provide the service, until account/content deletion, or for a necessary period allowed by applicable requirements. Security, moderation and backup retention may vary.
Consent is stored for 12 months, duplicate-view storage for 24 hours, and GA cookies only after consent, usually for up to 2 years under Google's settings.
International processing
Some infrastructure providers may process data outside Georgia. Their applicable security and privacy terms govern that processing.
Your choices and rights
You may request correction or deletion of information linked to your account where supported by the service and applicable requirements. Analytics consent can be changed from Cookie settings in the footer.

Internal measurement: to understand site activity, including when optional cookies are rejected, we aggregate public page views and marketplace activity. Each browser is counted once per Tbilisi calendar day using a random first-party marker kept in browser storage. It is sent only to the internal analytics endpoint and replaced after the day changes. Only its daily rotating protected hash is stored in the database; if browser storage is unavailable, a protected daily IP and coarse browser-family fallback is used. Authenticated accounts use daily pseudonyms. Raw IPs, full user agents and search text are not retained; temporary identifiers are automatically deleted after the current and previous three days while aggregates remain. These data are not sent to Google or Meta, are not used for advertising, and do not change their consent requirements.
